Our third annual trip to Lancaster. It was really great having Grace’s mom come with us to help out with the kids.
The Please Touch Museum in Philadelphia.
Of course…the car wash fascination.
The lighting down here in the supermarket was terrible, not sure if they’re paying they’re electric bill on time.
Ugh…I tried, but ended up giving CJ a front mushroom haircut.
Loading the dump truck.
This can’t be good.
It’s rocketship time.
Don’t touch that.
Yeah, I’m pretty sure CJ enjoyed this.
I forget what this was, magic sand?
Spilled the milk.
The power of the goose.
Love Chick-Fil-A. I think we ate these establishments four times during this trip. Did you know they play instrumentals to praise music in the background? Very nice.
We finally got CJ to go on rides…
And then Grace had to go and do this.
But CJ recovered nicely.
The Turtle Twirl ride should not be allowed in this park.
The shows are pretty good.
Ask CJ what his favorite part about Dutch Wonderland is and he’ll say, “The princess!”
The Dinosaur Expedition was a new addition.
I think the big draw with these mechanical dinos was that it was nicely shaded.
This lifeguard here was the man! He managed his line in an orderly and just manner, so much so that I wrote a beautiful tripadvisor review just about him and how management should give this guy a promotion and raise.
One more time.
One more show.
We conquered this place from 10am to 8pm. Our kids had so much fun that we’re contemplating getting a two-day pass next year.
Cherry Crest Adventure Farm.
Yes, we tried building a house.
There were way too many camp kids here, and with the heat, I’m not sure we’ll come back next year.
On our way to our second hotel near Philadelphia and we discovered this random market that had some contemporary Korean food.
Despite our crappy second hotel in Cherry Hill, NJ, (you can ask me about it in person), we all had fun and are looking forward to our Lancaster trip next year.
