Yesterday we celebrated CJ’s 3rd birthday by venturing into Chinatown for some Noodle Village. It was surprisingly good and CJ really enjoyed the rice noodle with beef brisket and the sweet soy milk.
We then walked over to the famous Chinatown Ice-Cream Factory and CJ loved the lychee ice-cream. Afterwards, we drove to Baby Cakes NYC for some gluten-free and vegan cupcakes and donuts. Although far, it’s really one of the very few bakeries in NYC that can serve CJ’s dietary requirements.
After a nap, family came over for dinner and to celebrate CJ’s birthday. He had a fun time and was finally able to blow out his own candles.
Despite battling a fever all day, CJ had fun eating good food, enjoying great company, and watching Frozen at home…twice. Happy Birthday, son!
