I finally hit the 4-mile mark last night and it was glorious. I’ve been waiting patiently for my body to build up the endurance to reach 4 miles and it felt so good. I changed my route so that I’d go through the hills early into my run rather than during the middle and it really helped me to cruise during the second half of my run. I could have run more but this is good enough for now. Hopefully a few more 4-mile runs and I’ll be able to reach 4.5 and then 5.0, my holy grail goal.
