On Saturday after dropping the wife off at work, CJ and I headed over to my parents’ house. It was a really nice day outside, so we decided to let CJ play in the backyard. As CJ ran around my dad proceeded to unlock the garage and he brought out CJ’s unassembled Little Tikes wagon given to him by my aunt and uncle at his one year old birthday celebration back in December. I really didn’t plan on doing much manual labor, but since I had the time and it was nice out, this was as good as any other time to put it together.
In retrospect, this was pretty easy to assemble, but the instruction manual was definitely incorrect on two separate occasions. I got pretty frustrated, but I was thankful that my Dad kept CJ busy which allowed me to focus. So after about an hour, I finally completed the wagon, but it unfortunately didn’t come with its two Little Tikes stickers. Perhaps I’ll give them a call and get them to mail it over. In the end, CJ was intrigued by the contraption, but is still weary when it comes to riding in moving objects that don’t involve a car seat. I’m sure he’ll learn to like it when he gets his grandparents to pull it along for him.
