Extension of Grace

So on Sunday, April 8th, Easter Sunday, CJ was infant baptized. It was a pretty joyous moment for us, especially on Resurrection Sunday and with our parents present to show their love and support. I was nervous and it was all a blur because I was just trying to make sure that CJ was comfortable and wouldn’t cry, which proved unsuccessful at the end for private reasons…lol. Nonetheless, the wife and I are thankful to God that his grace to us extends to CJ, that he’s now in a covenant relationship with our son. Of course it doesn’t mean that he’s saved, nor does it mean he can take the communion sacrament (only after the sealing ordinance of confession of faith), but it signifies that he is a child of grace and that we promise to raise him up to love Jesus as his king and savior. Praise the Lord!

A big thanks to Eric S. for being our personal photographer for the day and helping us document such a momentous occasion.
